1       FELIPE VARIABLETYPEFACE
Font made for my thesis: In the Absence of Sound, the Stone Whispers, which explores the work of Felipe Hernández Ramírez. Felipe Variable is a type revival of my great grandpfather’s gravestone letterings from the 1930’s. This display typeface features bold, angular letterforms with uniform stroke widths and prominent serifs, giving it a geometric and authoritative presence.

2       IN THE ABSENCE OF SOUND, THE STONE WHISPERSTHESIS
Font-making serves as a means of cultural preservation in my thesis: In the Absence of Sound, the Stone Whispers, which explores the work of Felipe Hernández Ramírez. The broader implications of this work extend beyond personal history. It highlights how typography, often seen as a purely functional tool, can act as a bridge between the past and the present, preserving lost narratives.
